Deadline Nov 15 2025 11:59 PM (EST)
Description

Organizations from outside of the United States can apply to host courses for training in palliative care, clinical research, multidisciplinary management of common cancers, or cancer control for primary care audiences.  Additional one day programs for professional development or tumor board development are available.

Virtual e-Courses are available in palliative care, and all courses can include a mix of virtual and in-person instruction.

Limited funding is reserved for in-person courses held in low and middle income countries to support international faculty travel.  If eligible, please indicate your need for support in the application.  Host organizations fund the expenses of hosting the meeting (venue, catering, etc.) and hosting faculty (ground transportation, hotels, meals).

Once the application has been reviewed and approved by the ASCO International Education Steering Group, ASCO and Host Organization will work together to create a team that will further define educational needs, course objectives, and plan the program.  Applicants must submit their application at least one year before the event is to be held.

Applications are reviewed on the following schedule:

  • 2027 Course applications open May 30, 2025, and will be reviewed at two points:
    • If submitted prior to November 1st, Applications will be reviewed before December 15th
    • If submitted prior to May 22nd, Applications will be reviewed before end of June 2026
    • After May 22, 2026, applications for 2027 will be closed.

Applications are considered as space is available.  It is encouraged to submit for the early review.  Please direct any questions to international@asco.org
